Description:

COCCO developed the proposal, based on the direct context and environment of the land, looking for the one that will adapt as best as possible, to take advantage of the unique characteristics that it had over the common denominator.

The location of the land is on a main street and near a park conditioned mainly for children from 3 to 12 years old.

The main common thread of the project was the condition of making a house mainly thought of the 3 children of the clients, two children under 10 years old and a little baby.

The land is on a slope whose highest level is in the front, the lowest part is located in the rear garden, which joins a natural slope in which a river forms during the rainy season. Developing the project turning the views towards this point was something that was taken care of from the beginning.

The donation garden is located on a higher level than the project's foundation, which generates privacy for the house, and this allows the development of large openings towards the front of the house.

On the ground floor a study with its own private terrace and a full bathroom is planned to also be used as a guest bedroom.

The room of the two children is in the front and is prepared so that in the future, if needed, it can be divided into two without great effort, the girl's room is directing its view towards the back forest as well as the main bedroom.

The development of the proposal is governed by the immediate environment and takes advantage of its shape, in front of the land there is a large donation garden which could not be used in any way, which leaves only a small portion for access, it was planned the garage in the farthest part so that it can be used as a terrace.

In a functional way, the donation garden, the garage/terrace, the access, the room, the covered rear terrace, the rear garden and the ravine that is at the bottom of the land are joined, in this way the space is a continuous fluid of functions, views and activities that fit the project to its environment and make the best of the situation. What was previously a disadvantage of the land is now the greatest virtue of the project.
