Description:

ARPAFIL is a contest that takes place within the framework of the FIL (International Book Fair) of Guadalajara, as one of the activities of an architectural and urban nature within this important festival of international stature, for this occasion the topic to be discussed was the From “LA CASA”, COCCO received the fourth place internationally in this contest.

We approach the theme of the house from the current perspective with reference to the spaces and sizes with which daily life develops today.

AVERAGE USE OF HOUSING SPACES DURING 24 HOURS ACCORDING TO WHO (WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION)

SLEEP 30%         BATH 5%               COOK 6%
EAT 7%                LEISURE 12%       AWAY FROM HOME 40%

Given that currently space for construction is scarce in large metropolises and that spaces for housing are increasingly reduced, this proposal suggests the use of "frames" that contain the spaces to be used in housing, since few Sometimes more than two are used at the same time, in such a way that while this space is used it not only has quality, but also spatial quantity.
